The Benefits of Being a Chamber Member Business Chamber Directory Your listing includes your business name, physical location, phone number, email, website, and logo. Email any changes in information or logo to springgroveareachamber@gmail.com . Chamber Building Chamber business and organization members are able to use our building on Main Street for meetings, work sessions, pop-up shops, etc. once a month free of charge. For subsequent uses within a month, there is a fee of $50/time. Individual members may use the space once per quarter. The building is equipped with a large screen television with laptop connectivity, refrigerator, conference table, couch, and chairs. Simply contact us with your date and how you’ll be using the space and we will check the availability of the building. Ribbon Cuttings A Ribbon Cutting is a great way to celebrate a significant milestone in the life of a business or organization. Whether it is a grand opening, new ownership, expansion, new location, anniversary, or remodel, each is a unique opportunity to share your story! The Chamber will help to promote your event, and we will bring a ribbon and large scissors for maximum visibility. We encourage businesses to plan special sales, refreshments, etc. for following the ribbon cutting — make it a celebration! Remember to invite friends, family, employees, business cohorts, etc. To schedule your ribbon cutting, email us: springgroveareachamber@gmail.com Promoting Your Events The Chamber will share your promotional/special events on Facebook. This may include sales or special events. We do our best to share your event/special as we see them. To make sure we don’t miss something you want us to share, please send us an email: springgroveareachamber@gmail.com and let us know about your event/special. We also create a graphic every two weeks with happenings around Spring Grove. Please emails us your special events/sales/activities or fill out this form so that we may include you in these graphics that appear on Facebook, our website, and hung as flyers in town. Job Postings Send us your job openings (about 30 words long) and we will help spread the word by including it in our semi-monthly e-news to Chamber members. We will also post it on our website. If you have a Facebook post regarding your job openings, please let us know so that we can share it. Ads Placed by the Chamber / Special Advertising Opportunities & Rates The Chamber will post ads, pitch stories, and secure placement in various tourism materials as the opportunity arises. We will seek opportunities for discounted advertising in local newspapers and radio with the goal of passing along the savings to you -- our member. As ad opportunities are explored, we will take into consideration what member businesses are relevant to that season/event/topic. We always welcome ideas for promotion and collaboration. Please get in touch with us with your ideas and we will work together to make it the most beneficial for as many members as possible. Shop / Do Business Locally The Chamber coordinates and promotes events that draw visitors and encourages citizens to shop and do business locally. These may include City Wide Garage Sales, the promotion of Shop Small Saturday, holiday happenings, and special events such as those that involve punch cards for various business stops. Window Cling Each member receives a Chamber Member window cling which you can display at your storefront location. Chamber membership shows an investment of your business in the Spring Grove community! Be proud of your support! Business Anniversaries Are you celebrating a significant business anniversary (5 years, 10 years, 15 years, etc.)? Congratulations! This is definitely something to celebrate and share! Please let us know in advance of your celebration so that we may help spread the word and help you celebrate! We are happy to help spread the word for any number anniversary and will do something a little extra special for those more significant years. Music & Market Music & Market provides opportunities to support local producers and enjoy food and live music from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesdays during May through August. Businesses are encouraged to stay open later on Wednesdays and perhaps offer specials to draw people in to shop while they are out-and-about at Music & Market. The Chamber provides an opportunity for members to have a free booth at Music & Market. This is an excellent opportunity to talk to community members and share information about your business, keeping your name and service fresh in their minds. You may have prize drawings or promotional give-away items in addition to distributing business information (no sales allowed). We will confirm your date via email. Chamber Bucks Chamber Bucks are monetary checks issued by the Spring Grove Area Chamber of Commerce and are available in increments of $5, $25, $50, and $100. They are redeemable at any Spring Grove area business that accepts checks. People simply present their Chamber Bucks when they pay. As a business accepting Chamber Bucks’ checks, simply accept them like regular checks and deposit them into your bank account. Laminated “Chamber Bucks Accepted Here” signs are available for your storefront. Chamber Bucks expire 12 months after issuance. These make great gifts for employees, prize giveaways for customers, and keep the dollars spent right here in town. Community Calendar The online Spring Grove Community Calendar is available for members to submit their events. The calendar is located on the City of Spring Grove's website. To submit your events: go to www.springgrovemn.com . Click on the black box “Submit your events for Community Calendar” on the right-hand side of the page - fill out the appropriate information and you’re good to go!

    Uffda Fest October 4-6, 2024 Uffda Fest is a celebration of Autumn in Spring Grove! Come enjoy a Hotdish Contest, participate in a Chalk Art Contest, Scarecrow Contest, Bags Tournament, and a .10K (yes, that's correct -- it's 328 feet!). There are pony rides, coins in the corn, food, henna tattoo artist, and a good ol' fashioned barn dance! Plus a Shop-Local-to-Win punch card. Plus much more! Each adult brunch ticket includes the opportunity to choose an ornament from our Tree of Deals that is stuffed with a secret discount or free gift at a local business. Bring your smiles and Christmas wish lists for the big guy in red! Santa will be making a special stop and will be available to talk to and have photos taken with -- no charge! During our Lunch & Learn events, we bring in speakers on educational topics from new laws to grant opportunities to social media tips. The lunch meal is catered by a member business and provided free to Chamber members. Is there a topic that you would like presented at a Lunch & Learn? Let us know! Upcoming dates: dates coming soon for 2026! Business After 5 Our Business After 5 is a time to kick-back after a work day and socialize, enjoy appetizers, and a drink with fellow Chamber members. This event is held at various member locations. There are multiple ways to be a featured sponsor of a Business After 5 event: 1) location host 2) food provider 3) beverage provider 4) door prize provider 5) entertainment provider, or 6) financial supporter.
